Land’s Edge Foundation (LEF) is one of Australia’s leading providers of dynamic and progressive outdoor education experiences for young people.
Through activities like surfing, snorkelling, kayaking, team-building and hiking, we seek to get young people off their screens and out into the natural world.
This is where you come in.
Our Trainee Programme is geared towards developing individuals as future leaders in the outdoor education sector. Across 12 months, our trainees will learn all the core competencies needed to excel in this industry, from leadership and first aid skills to water rescue, navigation, management and environmental training. This will be an accelerated pathway to becoming a dynamic leader of outdoor education and adventure.

If you answered yes to the above questions, then we want to hear from you. We’re looking for hard-working, passionate people who might not have much work experience yet in the wide world, but who want to learn, grow and thrive within an organisation that takes outdoor training very seriously.
If you’re prepared to commit to 12 months, we’re willing to cover the costs of the entire traineeship and provide you with full-time paid employment while you study. At the end, you’ll leave with either a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership and a bright future ahead in the outdoor education sector.
